We have had a busy January {with weddings every weekend} but at last…a blog post featuring a beauty from the 2011 season!
Adam and Chrissie were married on 9.10.11 at the elegant JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. Adam’s sister Alli is one of my oldest friends from home, so I particularly enjoyed creating beautiful flowers for this celebration.
We created the bridal bouquet out of flame mini calla lilies, orange milva roses and gold and tangerine cymbidium orchid buds. We added a cluster of five elegant ivory roses to her bouquet honor their grandparents that were unable to attend. The bridesmaids bouquet coordinated with Chrissie’s, as did the aisle decor which we used as centerpieces after the ceremony.
We lined the aisle with tall cylinder vases with twisted, submerged mini calla lilies or submerged cymbidium orchid strings and topped this off with a floating ivory candle. We complimented the cylinder pieces with low, round cylinder vases packed with lush arrangements of the bridal party bouquet blooms.
Designworks draped the ballroom in ivory with platinum accents and added the silk gold Aspen trees and Jenna Walker Photography is responsible for these lovely images shown above. Below are a few additional detail shots from our camera.
This was a beautiful, colorful affair and we wish Adam and Chrissie much happiness!!
